In the V Walk x Planet J 「躍動全城夏運會」, we developed innovative interactive sports games: 「霹靂節奏競技場 」and 「極限衝浪」. Our team created engaging experiences that immerse participants in various athletic challenges, utilizing motion detection technology to enhance gameplay.
Objectives
- Develop interactive sports games that promote physical activity and foster friendly competition among participants.
- Create a dynamic environment where users can actively engage with the games through their movements.
Game Development
We designed a series of multiple players interactive sports games centered around the themes of dancing and surfing :「霹靂節奏競技場」, 「霹靂節奏競技場」 . These games utilize motion detection to track user movements, enabling real-time participation.
Motion Detection & Interaction
We employ motion detection within the games. In 「霹靂節奏競技場」, player poses are detected to facilitate rhythmic challenges, allowing participants to engage in competitive dance-like actions. In 「極限衝浪」, the system detects body slope to simulate surfing dynamics, enabling players to balance and maneuver as if riding real waves.
Animated Graphics
We enhance the visual experience by animating graphics, bringing the game environment to life and creating a more immersive atmosphere for players.
In-Game Photo Booth
At the end of each game, participants can capture their experience with a photo. They can conveniently download the photo using a QR code, ensuring easy access to their fun memories.
