HKDX 「暢影隨意門」

We developed and programmed the 「暢影隨意門」AI Photobooth for the Hong Kong Design Centre (HKDX), adapting the system across two distinct exhibitions to match each event’s unique theme.

• 「設計玩樂」: Echoing the playful energy of the “Design Playground” exhibition, the system transformed guest portraits into vibrant Pop Art illustrations—placing visitors directly into a digital Hong Kong world to interact and snap photos within it.
• 「薩錫克：從前，有個香港」: The AI style updated to mirror Miroslav Šašek’s signature mid-century illustration aesthetic, placing visitors directly into nostalgic, classic Hong Kong storybook scenes.

For both exhibitions, visitors selected their favorite backdrop, generated a theme-matched AI portrait, downloaded a digital soft copy via QR code, and received a physical printed photo magnet as a personalized souvenir.
